Lizzie, Founder and Manager of Marin County
Lizzie has felt a strong connection to animals her entire life. As a teenager, she had her own business walking and running dogs in her hometown. While attending UCLA, Lizzie worked for a company where she ran and walked dogs, and did pet sitting for cats.
After graduating from college, Lizzie became a CPA and worked in the consulting industry for six years. Family and friends had always encouraged her to follow her passion, so she left the corporate world to start a business focused around her two true passions – animals and fitness. As a life-long athlete, Lizzie’s core focus with Doggy Dash will be dog running, providing San Francisco dog owners an easy way to ensure the fitness and continued health of their beloved pets. As they say, “a tired dog is a happy dog!”
A previous volunteer for many pet-related organizations, Lizzie has helped to socialize cats, and train, walk, and run dogs. She is also a Certified Dog Trainer through the Animal Behavior College.
Andrew, Co-owner and Manager of San Francisco
Andrew is the passionate and dedicated dog lover behind our exceptional dog walking services. As a lifelong dog owner and enthusiast, Andrew knows the true value of a wagging tail and a happy pup. As an experienced and devoted dog owner, rest assured that your pups are in safe and experienced hands. When not out exploring with the dogs, Andrew can be found indulging in thrilling motorcycle rides and embarking on exciting travel adventures. Trust Andrew to provide your beloved pets with joyful outings and the utmost attention they deserve.
Edith, Dog Walker / Sitter
Edith has had a loving connection to the animal kingdom ever since she can remember. She was drawn to pet sitting after she was introduced to the challenges of working elephants in Thailand and adopted her first elephant orphan. Then, of course, she went home without an elephant, but knew she would like to take care of domestic pets in her community.
Edith has been pet sitting in Austria and Marin County since 2015. Edith's focus with pet sitting is based on respect and communication. Edith will listen to your pet. It is important to her to respond to the personality of the animal and to find the right balance between play, rest, and direction.
Kai, Dog Walker / Sitter
Kai, originally from Delaware, grew up with a variety of dogs, including a German Shepherd and a Beagle. She has also been the owner of two cat sisters for the past 16 years. Kai has been with Doggy Dash for five years and is quite the animal lover - she thinks furry family members add more joy, adventure, and love to one's life. When not walking pups or caring for cats, Kai is a freelance photographer and manages a food & specialty store.
Alicia, Dog Walker / Sitter
Alicia, originally from Indonesia, made her way to Southern California at the tender age of 3 before settling in San Francisco in 2019. A devoted enthusiast of all animals, especially dogs, she finds joy in the companionship and unique personalities of her furry friends. Alicia's own beloved dog, Honey, a Stafford Pit/Boxer/Chihuahua mix, brings both sweetness and spiciness to her life, keeping her on her toes with her endearing antics.
Ivy, Dog Walker / Sitter
Ivy was born and raised in Hong Kong, finished education in Australia, and now calls San Francisco home. She is a mother of a 14-year-old boy, a self-employed professional photographer, and an animal lover. Ivy has almost 30 years of experience being a mama to dogs and cats, and the main caregiver to a llama for 3 years. Ivy is so happy to be a part of Doggy Dash, and to spend time with and care for your pets.
Nick, Dog Walker
Nick was born in San Francisco and has lived in the city his entire life. He has had a variety of pets throughout his life - dogs, cats, hamsters and many fish. He has volunteered at the SPCA and has also done dog sitting the past few years. Nick currently attends City College of San Francisco and is majoring in Anthropology, which he plans to use to get a job as a park ranger.
Lara, Dog Walker
Lara, originally from Belarus, is a longtime resident of the city and a mother of 3 wonderful kids and an adorable pup named Lucy. A previous IT professional, she decided to change her career recently and work more with pets and people. Lara’s hobbies are traveling, gastronomy, architecture and ballet. She enjoys staying active by walking and jogging dogs and is looking forward to meeting your furry family member!
Nicole, Dog Walker / Sitter
Nicole has had an affinity for animals for as long as she can remember. She has 10 years of dog walking experience as well as dog/cat-sitting. She is currently studying Echocardiography and is passionate about helping others. If Nicole isn't spending time with the pups or studying, you can find her wrapped up in a good book!
Veronica, Dog Walker / Sitter
Veronica, a passionate San Francisco local, brings her love for animals and vibrant spirit to the Doggy Dash team. Since starting dog walking in 2019, she discovered a perfect blend of fitness and animal affection. Roaming scenic routes, she ensures dogs enjoy exercise, exploration, and play. Committed to each dog's unique personality, Veronica strives to make every outing enjoyable and enriching, earning the trust of every dog she meets.
